I am amazed by the number of really affordable webhosts there are for WordPress.
Lately I have had the opportunity to work on a number of sites in a number of environments with various hosts.
There are some really great deals out there. While I don’t understand the business model for pricing, it is a “Buyers Market” in web hosting.
At CompanyV we own all of our own gear and so I have an idea what it takes to keep equipment running and how expensive it is to replace. It does make me wonder how a market like this can persist.
I hear horror stories about reaching inexpensive hosts tech support and can only say – you get what you pay for – and really you are not covering the costs of bandwidth let alone a human!
